Though Josh Duhamel doesn't have kids of his own yet, his Life as We Know It costar Katherine Heigl is completely confident in his parenting abilities. In fact, the actress -- who adopted now-20-month-old daughter Naleigh with musician husband Josh Kelley last year -- says she'd absolutely trust him with her child.
"I would love Josh to babysit," Heigl, 31, tells iVillage exclusively. "He's fantastic with children."
But Duhamel isn't quite convinced. "You'd leave me alone with your daughter?" he asks Heigl. "I wouldn't know what to do!" Despite his insecurities, the actor, 36, says he definitely wants kids with wife Fergie. And it didn't take playing an onscreen dad to figure that out.
"I wanted to have them before this (movie)," the actor says. "That was part of the reason I wanted to be a part of it."
