Have you seen the previews for Katherine Heigl's new film, The Ugly Truth?
Well, if you haven't, let me tell you, it's filled with sexy sparring between Kat and her costar, Gerard Butler, and makes me want to order a giant-sized Diet Coke and immerse myself in it's hotness.
Which is exactly what Kat was going for.
The Grey's Anatomy star tells the August issue of InStyle that she's so done playing mild-mannered, clean-living characters -- and is ready to get down and dirty on the big screen.
"I know this is going to sound bad but I'm really glad [The Ugly Truth is rated] 'R.' I didn't want to do another 'PG-13' movie," she told the mag. "You're probably going to drop the F-bomb once in a while. You're probably going to say some things that are kind of harsh," she said of a real-life relationship. "And you're definitely going to talk about sex. It doesn't have to be so Snow White and Prince Charming."
Speaking of potty mouths -- remember when Katherine won her Emmy and the cameras caught her saying "Sh*t!"? Loved it.
But, besides talking dirty, our beloved Izzie is looking to take on movie roles with substance, and leave the fluff to someone else.
"Studios love stories about the man or woman who has had nothing happen to them other than their own bad choices," she said. "I'm much more passionate about the people who survive not the choices they've made but the sh*t that comes down in life that you have no control over. People who lose children or suffer great illnesses or disease and yet manage to come out of those experiences still passionate about life and joyful and grateful to be alive. Those are the stories I really want to tell."
Nobody is ever going to accuse this girl of not knowing what she wants. And we kind of like her all dirty like that.
