Katie Holmes doesn't have to go far for fashion advice. Instead of consulting a stylist, the actress can simply turn to her 4-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, for helpful tips.
"She'll really tell me (what's on her mind)," Holmes says in the February issue of Elle. "Like today, I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don't like your pants.' But then she'll say, ‘You've got to wear these shoes.' Or ‘That's so pretty, Mom. Wear that.' She's got a great eye."
Pretty soon Suri will be shopping on her own -- and when that happens, daddy Tom Cruise and Holmes had better watch their bank account! It seems like their little fashion maven can spot a stunning outfit from miles away.
"The other day we came out of a store," Holmes says. "And she said, ‘I want to go there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.'"
