Even hip celebrities aren't too cool to act like tourists.
Case in point: Katy Perry and Russell Brand posed in front of one of the world's most famous monuments, the Taj Mahal, for a picture that would be as at home in a regular couple's travel photo album as it is in a celebrity Twitter feed.
Perry even joked on her Twitter page that the opulent structure was a romantic gift from her bad-boy boyfriend. She posted the adorable photo above with the caption: "He built this for me ..."
Of course the Taj Mahal, which has been called one of the "new seven wonders of the world," wasn't actually built by the famously offensive MTV VMAs host. It was erected in the 17th century by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
