Who says that the love of a good woman can't change a man? Until he fell for Katy Perry, British comedian Russell Brand was a notorious sex addict, described by one ex-girlfriend as incapable of monogamy. Now that Brand, 34, and Perry, 25, are engaged, Brand is psyched about settling down. Maybe even too psyched.
On the red carpet of the Kids' Choice Awards, Perry was nonchalant about her wedding plans, saying "I have to plan my new record first." But Brand, she said, was turning into "a total Bridezilla."
"He's like a freak, man," Perry told MTV News. "He's always buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast he's like, can we just stop and get a bride magazine?"
We wouldn't have thought scruffy Brand was the type to get excited about veils and centerpieces -- but it's nice that he's so invested! Maybe the wacky groom can take a cue from Carrie Underwood, who's forgoing a traditional wedding cake in favor of cupcakes. Bridezilla or no, we can't imagine anything about this crazy couple's wedding will be traditional!
