In case you needed more proof that Katy Perry is worthy of her Maxim's Hot 100 top spot, check out her new album cover! The sexy, nude photo of the pop star is sure to melt a few popsicles.
The cover of her third studio album, Teenage Dream, features the "California Gurls" singer in the buff, lounging on a puff of cotton candy. As usual, Perry easily embodies the essence of a '40s pin-up model for the suggestive piece of art, which is actually a painting by contemporary artist Will Cotton.
Since sky-rocketing to pop-star fame, Perry's whole image has been about the tease -- a persona that seems to be working just fine for the singer and her bad-boy fiance, Russell Brand.
Teenage Dream is set to be released on August 24.
