Keep Cookbook Collections Under Control

The Kitchn crew has a simple trick for keeping cookbook collections in check: For every new cookbook you get, pass on an old cookbook to a friend or family member. But remember, before you give it away, make sure to copy down a few of your favorite recipes. If it’s too hard to part with your precious cookbooks, store ones you don’t use as often on bookshelves in another room and keep one at a time on your kitchen counter. You could even pick one cookbook and plan to only cook from that for a month. It’ll be a great way to discover new recipes and you’ll feel less overwhelmed by so many options.
