'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Finale: Baby, Baby, Baby, Oh!

From Khloe dealing with fertility issues to Kourtney giving birth, the season finale was an emotional roller coaster

These reality stars do everything on camera, don't they? Sheesh -- even give birth! Viewers of the season 7 finale of E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians gained entry into Kourtney's delivery room, right along with her whole family -- including Kourtney's son Mason, her sisters Kim and Khloe, her brother Rob, her half sisters Kendall and Kylie, her mother Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Scott Disick.

And as she did with Baby Mason, Kourtney, who gave birth in July, reached down and helped to pull baby Penelope out herself. Interestingly, not even the men in the room appeared to be phased by the "ick" factor of this up close and personal birthing experience. Only the ascerbic Khloe made a wry crack: "Kourtney just loves to pull out her own children!"

But then, Khloe can be forgiven for her irreverent moment. The third Kardashian sister, who's married to Lamar Odom, was dealing with her own baby issues. Earlier in the episode, she found out that she wasn't ovulating, and hadn't been for a while. She decided to begin taking medication and having injections to beef up her egg production.

This provided a second source of drama for the finale, when Kim foiled Khloe's desire to keep this infertility situation private. At a charity event, she informed her mother, Kris, about the diagnosis and treatment options. Kris was naturally upset to be left out of the loop. "You don't tell your own mother that you're going to a fertility clinic?" she cried. The scenario led to a Kardashian moment of truth, as Kim confessed that she'd blabbed and Khloe reproached her.

Meanwhile, Khloe's troubles prompted Kim to begin egging on her own eggs -- with her own set of injections -- in advance of a procedure to freeze some of them for later use. Later, at Kourtney's baby shower, Khloe asked Kim's boyfriend, Kanye West, if he wanted to have children. The answer was yes, which is nice, but a shame for the show: Imagine the drama if he'd said no!

Viewers won't have to wait long to see the family again: Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami is just around the corner, premiering in January. The saga continues!
