This story gets me so annoyed. I figured after the whole "Jessica Simpson is Fat" debacle, people might actually stop criticizing women for their weight... for at least a few months.
I was wrong.
After watching Kelly Clarkson perform on American Idol last night, people started wondering if Kelly was pregnant. Pregnant?!? Why, because she looked normal and not stick-thin?
Kelly's outfit did accentuate her curves, but I still don't understand why that sends people into a frenzy. It seems like the second a female celebrity gains a pound, we either say they got fat or assume they're pregnant.
Well, Kelly's rep wants us all to know that Kelly is definitely not preggers.
Perhaps I'm ranting unnecessarily (you tell me), but I say we celebrate the fact that Kelly looks like a normal woman!
