American Idol’s original champ, Kelly Clarkson (famous for tough-girl anthems like "Since U Been Gone" and "My Life Would Suck Without You") says she’s not one to chase love. "Maybe y’all just fall in love too quickly," the 27-year-old told PopEater last year. "Have you ever thought about that? I'd rather have quality than quantity... Honestly, the biggest thing I'm looking for is someone that has their own life..." And she’s not giving up her high standards for anybody. As the singer told British Cosmo, "I love my career and being independent, so if I’m going to make time for a man, he has to be worth it."
