One of Hollywood's most notorious divorces just took a turn for the better. Kelsey Grammer and his ex-wife Camille have finally reached an amicable custody agreement.
According to People, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 43, and the stage-and-screen actor, 57, have agreed that their two children -- daughter Mason and son Jude -- will remain living in California with their mother. Kelsey will be closely involved in the kids' lives, the source says, adding that a financial settlement between the high-profile exes is imminent.
The Grammers have had a more public divorce than most celebrity exes, who stay mum about the dissolution of their marriages. Shortly after their divorce was announced in July 2010 (while Camille was filming the first season of Real Housewives), Kelsey stepped out with his then-girlfriend Kayte Walsh, whom he married in Feb. 2011, just weeks after his divorce was finalized.
Last October, Kelsey talked openly about his marriage and divorce. "I remember having one conversation where I said, 'Well, don't worry about it. After the first season, you can do the Divorced Wives of Beverly Hills next season,'" he told Piers Morgan.
Kelsey filed for sole custody of the kids in May 2011, nearly a year after Camille filed for divorce. He is now expecting twins with Walsh, who is 25 years his junior. The source says Kelsey and Kayte are looking for a home in the Los Angeles area, so they can have a home close to the children.
