The pop star has received an emphatic reception from her new beau's famously tight-knit family, particularly Ethel Kennedy, Conor's grandmother, as well as his aunt Rory Kennedy.
"She's awesome," Rory Kennedy said Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer tour in Beverly Hills. "She's a great friend of all of ours."
Rory praised the pop superstar at an HBO panel for Ethel, the documentary she directed about the life of her mother, Robert F. Kennedy's widow.
The Grammy-winning singer, 22, first became friendly with the Kennedy clan when Rory took her two daughters Georgia, 10, and Bridget, 8, to one of her concerts.
"Rory went to a concert with her two little girls, and that's what started it all: her children," revealed grandmother Ethel Kennedy, who is photographed with Swift at the Sundance Film Festival.
And what does the powerful matriarch think of the possibility of Swift becoming a Kennedy, should the singer's romance with her grandson Conor, 18, go the distance?
"We should be so lucky," said Ethel.
Sounds like Swift has already won over her boyfriend's intimidating extended family.
