As Marriage Troubles Continue, Khloe Kardashian Lets Social Media Do Her Talking

The reality star seems to be finding comfort in her fans, while there are rumors that she's fighting with sister Kim Kardashian about husband Lamar Odom

Tuesday was an eventful day for Khloe Kardashian, whose marriage has been in a state of much publicized limbo for the last few months. After weeks living apart, her estranged husband Lamar Odom was spotted returning to the couple's Tarzana, Calif. home. The same day, she also hosted a 35-minute Facebook chat with fans.

The timing isn't surprising; Kardashian has leaned on social media as a way of communicating with fans throughout her personal drama. From her smartphone or computer keyboard, she's carefully controlled her message while also acknowledging the many followers who support her. The Facebook chat veered into personal territory just once, when a fan commented: "I think you're so amazing and beautiful and love how you carry yourself through all of these hard times!!! You are such an inspiration to me!!!"

"I'm trying my best!" Kardashian replied. "Kisses."

It's not clear whether the chat took place before or after Odom's appearance at her doorstep the same day. "Lamar went there to talk divorce details," a source told "He wants to know where they stand with their house, their future, and their lives. This is a start that can end greatly or badly. But it's a step in the right direction no matter the outcome."

Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian would certainly see it that way, if rumors are true about the argument the sisters had before Kim and Kanye West left for Paris this week. "Khloe was at momager Kris Jenner's house, and Kim just lit into her about how much Lamar was hurting their bottom line and creating so much negative publicity," a source told Radar Online. "Kim can't understand why Khloe hasn't dumped Lamar because he is showing absolutely no desire to go to rehab. ... The headlines surrounding Lamar's womanizing and drug addiction are tacky according to Kim, and she doesn't want to be associated with it." (Apparently, headlines surrounding a 72-day marriage are perfectly classy.)

Actually, we're skeptical about the notion that Kim is being nasty about Khloe's personal troubles. We haven't heard from Kim directly -- nor, for that matter, from Khloe herself. But while she hasn't sat down for an Oprah-style interview -- yet -- she has posted some messages on her Facebook page that seem to be speaking for her.

Well, we can't argue with that.
