Things are looking bad for Lamar Odom, but Khloe Kardashian is determined to keep up appearances. Since news broke of Odom's alleged drug addiction, which is reportedly destroying their marriage, Kardashian has continued to tweet, post selfies, and film her reality show. You'd think it was just a normal week in the life of the reality star, if not for the occasional hints that she's weathering a storm. Here are a few of the more revealing things she's posted in this past 3 weeks:
As much as I wish I were made of steel... I'm not— KhloéKardashianOdom (@KhloeKardashian) September 1, 2013
Only the strong will survive— KhloéKardashianOdom (@KhloeKardashian) August 23, 2013
Most of the time, though, she posts stuff like this glamour shot (accompanied by see-no-evil, hear-no-evil monkey emoticons) or this goofy Keek from Tuesday.
The 29-year-old also popped up in L.A. on Monday, dressed to the nines and wearing her wedding ring, to shoot the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kardashian's coping strategy, in other words, can be summed up thusly: deny, deny, deny.
Odom, who reportedly spent just one day in rehab last week before throwing in the towel, is taking a similar approach -- though he's less convincing about it. TMZ caught up with the NBA player outside a sushi restaurant on Tuesday, where he assured the videographer that he does not have a crack addiction, he doesn't need help, and "life is good." When asked if he'd spoken to Kardashian lately, Odom just laughed and said, "That's my wife! Of course!"
"Khloe gave Lamar an ultimatum: if he didn't get help, she'd end the marriage," says the E! source. "So far, he's ignoring her. The situation can still turn around, but at this point, divorce seems imminent."
Again, Keeping Up with the Kardashians started filming this week, which boggles the mind. Will Khloe's real-life drama make it onscreen? Or does she only face her problems head-on when the cameras go off?
