Heavy, metal stocking holders look great on a mantle, but curious little hands can pull them down -- and they could conk someone on the head or crush a toe! Instead, use plastic wall hooks that attach with removable tape or consider hanging stockings from your kids’ doorknobs or placing them at the foots of their beds (so they’re one of the first things they see when they wake -- your kid will love that Santa knew exactly where to find them!). Or, just place them under the tree Christmas morning.
