Forget Jessica Simpson! Now, here is someone who should be pushing brewskies!
Drinks Americas Holdings Ltd. announced that they are clinking glasses with Detroit's own Kid Rock to develop and market a premium domestic beer.
Premium beer? Kid seems like more of a case-for-$4.99 type of guy to us, but whatevs.
J. Patrick Kenny, CEO of Drinks Americas, said "Kid Rock is a reflection of great American rock-and-roll music and the American spirit, and we think we can create a beer in that same image. ... There is no question in our mind that people will try a beer that Kid Rock will stand by and when they like it, a great and incredibly valuable trademark will be created" by next spring.
Hey, I love Kid, so I'll drink to that.
