Cherry Blossom Craft

From: Creative Jewish Mom

Why We Love It: If you can’t visit Washington, DC to see the real deal, these happy pink blossoms are the next best thing.

What You'll Need: Black india ink, white card stock, straws, pink tissue paper, glue

How to Do It: Dip a straw in the ink, cover the top of it with your finger tip and then hover over the card stock and release your finger. Take a clean straw and gently blow the ink upwards to create a trunk. Repeat these steps to make branches and then set it aside to dry. Roll bits of tissue paper into balls, dip in the glue and stick them to the tree limbs. You can also add ‘ground’ and ‘sky’ by gluing on pieces of brown and blue construction paper.

Great for Kids: Toddler and up
