Now that they have a baby on the way, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to put together the perfect dream pad for their new family. It's being reported that the couple has purchased an $11 million mansion in a gated Bel Air community.
Will this make the Kimye baby the new fresh prince or princess of Bel Air? It seems so, if TMZ's sources are to be believed. The 14,000-square-foot home will reportedly include a gym, movie theater, basketball court, bowling alley, hair and makeup salon and indoor and outdoor pool. Not too shabby, all things considered.
West and Kardashian are going to be surrounded by their peers when they move into their new place. Also living in the community are Jennifer Aniston, Chris Paul and Joe Francis.
This major purchase likely explains why the couple turned down a $3 million offer from a foreign gossip magazine for first dibs on baby photos. TMZ first broke the news, and Hollywood Life later claimed that Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner has something to do with the refusal.
"Kris instructed Kim and Kanye to NOT sell photos of their baby for a mere $3 million! Kris thinks they could get double the amount," a "friend of the Kardashian family" reportedly told the site.
Hey, if they do end up grabbing $6 million for the photos, that ends up covering half of their new home! Imagine how much they will make if they eventually decide to hold a Kimye wedding.
