1. Sex and the City fans know that Samantha Jones is unapologetically bold and loves to have all eyes on her. But Kim Cattrall, the actress who’s been playing the dirty-talking character for 12 years, would rather blend in. “I don’t need to be the center of attention," Cattrall tells iVillage exclusively. "I like to be more of an observer.”
2. In Sex and the City 2, hitting theatres May 27, Samantha and her BFFs flex their vocal muscles on the karaoke stage. The 53-year-old actress, however, wouldn’t be caught dead belting out "Don’t Stop Believin'". "I hate karaoke,” she says. “I think it’s really sad…and scary. My choice would be to go to a fabulous restaurant and have a lovely meal. Not karaoke."
3. While Samantha is happy to dish the details of her hyper-active sex life to anyone within earshot, Kim insists she's not quite as open. "I'm much more private," she says.
