My style: Comfortable classics with a twist. I have the basics in black. White jeans and gold hoop earrings are my signature pieces. I then add something that inspires a happy dance -- a decorative coat, fun prints, bold jewelry. Everything is versatile and easy to pack for adventures.

I'm inspired by: My mother and other women who have style confidence whatever their age, shape or size. I also tape pictures of items, outfits or women with style on the back of my closet door for daily inspiration. But it's more than what to wear, it's how you conduct yourself and live your life, which I find truly inspiring.

Something most people don't know about me: I love helping people shop their closet and find their style. I plan to get certified to teach Zumba Gold. And being a fervent cook and foodie, I am particularly concerned about hunger and poor nutrition in America. I am about to launch a Web site to distribute delicious recipes that are inexpensive and easy to prepare. Also, I am working on my next book, which I am very excited about. Stay tuned!

Now it's your turn to show us your "style pile." Upload your photo and tell us about your style on our message boards.
