When sharing what she's thinking on Twitter, Kim Kardashian is one of the most uncensored celebs out there. Over the weekend, the reality star upset countless moms when she let her followers know exactly how she felt about seeing a woman breastfeeding in public.
Kardashian, 29, tweeted on Friday: "EWW Im at lunch, the woman at the table next 2 me is breast feeding her baby w no coverup," adding: "then puts baby on the table and changes her diaper."
While Kardashian has a valid point about the latter half of her observation (changing a baby on a table where food is served? Unquestionably "EWW!"), we can't help wonder why she was so intensely bothered by seeing a baby nurse. We presume the mother in question didn't invite her to observe, so like anyone else unfamiliar with how nursing works, Kim could have discreetly looked away if a bare breast in a baby's mouth made her uncomfortable. And we certainly haven't seen her take to her Twitter all grossed out by her sister Kourtney Kardashian giving their sis Khloe Kardashian a bikini wax on their E! series Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami -- a show which also recently featured footage of new mom Kourtney using her breast pump.
Kim Kardashian's controversial reaction to witnessing public breastfeeding is hardly the first time she's caused an uproar via the social networking site. In April, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star uploaded a photo of herself holding an adorable kitten by the scruff of its neck, upsetting animal-friendly tweeters who objected to her apparent lack of feline safety awareness.
A few weeks prior to Kittengate, Kardashian also got into a bit of a Twitter fight with Demi Moore, over Kim's use of the phrase "big pimpin," which Moore objected to using colloquially when sex-trafficking crimes remain an urgent crisis for women around the world.
Kardashian currently has nearly 3.9 million followers on Twitter.
