Is O.J. Simpson Khloe Kardashian's father?! It would be one of the most shocking paternity scandals in recent years... if it were true.
But, as National Enquirer stories often are, this latest headline appears to be false. In fact, it's such a stretch that Khloe's older sister Kim Kardashian would rather mock it than dignify it with a denial. And that's exactly what she did on Twitter Wednesday.
"Now we have all the answers! It makes sense now!" Kim, 30, tweeted, along with a picture of the National Enquirer cover. "Khloe, you are so tan."
The rumor likely started because of mom Kris Jenner's old connection to the Simpson family. Her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian (who is the father of Kim, Kourtney, Klhoe and Rob) was a member of Simpson's legal team back when the former football star was accused of murdering his wife. And Jenner herself was one of Nicole Brown Simpson's best friends before she was murdered in 1994.
However, as Us Weekly points out, this whole discussion of Khloe's parentage should be moot. The 27-year-old took a DNA test during a 2009 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and the results proved she was not adopted.
Even so, the paternity rumors flared up anew recently, when Robert's two other former wives told Star magazine that the Kardashian patriarch had admitted that Khloe was not his daughter.
Khloe didn't find those allegations as amusing as National Enquirer's O.J. paternity claim, however -- and she was pretty vocal about it. "The audacity you have to mention my father's name like this! Should be ashamed of urself!" she twittered in response to the paternity rumors. "I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)."
Jenner also addressed the rumors, calling them "such crap."
