With the media and public's unfailing fascination with everything Kim Kardashian does -- from getting married to getting her butt X-rayed -- one might think that she's one of the most adored stars of our time. One would be wrong, at least judging by the results of Parade magazine's Pop Culture Poll 2011: The readers who voted in the poll (which received 60,000 responses) named the middle Kardashian sister the most annoying celebrity of the year.
"Famous for being famous, Kim... has been inescapable, with her recent wedding and honeymoon reported just about everywhere," Parade writes. "Perhaps all that exposure is why she earned the title of Most Annoying Celebrity in our poll, with 29 percent of the vote."
But the 30-year-old Keeping Up with The Kardashians star had some stiff competition for the dubious distinction. Former Two and a Half Men star (and Vatican warlock assassin) Charlie Sheen came in a close second with 27 percent of the vote, and Jersey Shore's Snooki earned 21 percent. That left Lindsay Lohan with 16 percent of the vote, Donald Trump with 5 percent, and Brad Womack with only 1 percent.
That's not the only harsh judgment passed in Parade's poll, though. Apparently readers feel that Jennifer Lopez is the most replaceable judge on American Idol. Sorry J.Lo, but it looks like those viewers want Jenny to go back to the block.
It also turns out that people think Ryan Reynolds would be the best suitor for Pippa Middleton, leaving Jake Gyllenhaal and Leonardo DiCaprio in the dust.
And congratulations are in order for Emma Watson, because a whopping 79 percent of Parade voters think she's the Harry Potter star most likely to succeed. Hey, it's not as catchy a title as most annoying celebrity of the year, but it'll do.
