Kim Kardashian has now been single for more than three months, which is (proportionally) a whole lot longer than the 72 days she was married to estranged husband Kris Humphries. But Kardashian hasn't resigned herself to spinsterhood just yet. In fact, Kim and former flame Reggie Bush reportedly had lunch together in Los Angeles last weekend, sparking speculation that the 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the 26-year-old NFL player -- who dated on and off from 2007 to 2010, and spent Valentine's Day together in 2010 (see adorable photo above) -- might once again have fallen prey to Cupid's well-aimed arrow.
Not so fast! A source tells People that Kim and Reggie are just friends -- at least for now. "They don't know what will happen," the insider says. "They're taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated."
Can't say that we blame Kardashian for wanting to take things at a tortoise's pace. After all, going the hare route with a quickie wedding to Humphries didn't exactly pan out. Plus, says People's source, Kim is just relishing her independence right now (like some other single ladies we know).
"Things are up in the air," the source explains. "Kim very much wants to take her time and be single and heal from her divorce."
Sounds good to us -- we don't want Kim rushing into another "bad business decision!"
