It seems that love has blossomed between On the Road costars Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund. The couple, who had been spotted out and about together previously, took their relationship public during the Sundance Film Festival -- laying the PDA on thick during a dinner for Dunst's upcoming movie, The Bachelorette.
According to People, Dunst, 29, and Hedlund, 27, were kissing and hugging throughout the night at a dinner hosted for Dunst's Sundance submission. The duo also apparently "danced the night away" with their friends and fellow attendees, which included producer Will Ferrell, Justin Long and Rashida Jones.
Eyewitnesses insist that the couple didn't leave much room for speculation about their relationship. One partygoer said that Hedlund stayed by Dunst's side all night, and they even toasted to the film together.
"Kirsten and Garrett have been spending time together since the holidays," another source tells the magazine. "They were friends on the set of On the Road, and now they've grown closer. They spent Christmas together and he feels very strongly about her."
In the past, Dunst has been romantically linked to Jake Gyllenhaal, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and Rilo Kiley drummer Jason Boesel.
So it's safe to assume that Dunst has a soft spot for musicians, which works in Hedlund's favor: He recently showed off some pretty impressive vocal skills in Country Strong and will also be starring in the upcoming Coen brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis, which will require him to sing.
