Kirstie Alley Scores Weighty Reality Show

The battle of the bulge continues for Kirstie Alley, who's decided to take her fight to television. The actress will star in a new A&E reality show (currently untitled), that documents her quest to lose the extra pounds, while raising her two teenage children in Hollywood.
"Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to," said the network's nonfiction/alternative programming senior VP Robert Sharenow. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she'll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras."
The show will debut in 2010, and will run for 10 half-hour episodes.
