I know, I know, I should be happy for celebrities who find love. It's just that it's hard for me when they're costars.
Take Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who just got married. I love their show Dexter so much. Yet, now when I watch their scenes together, all that goes through my head is that Dexter and Deb -- aka brother and sister! --- are making out offscreen. Ew.
Or how about Dave Annable and Emily VanCamp? Just as their characters were getting together on Brothers & Sisters, they were breaking up in real life. Instead of getting swept away in their on-screen romance, I was wondering how awkward it was for them to be kissing.
And now True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have admitted that they're in a relationship. For those of you who don't watch True Blood (which I like to think is no one since the show rocks), Anna and Stephen's characters are in love on the show. So for now, this works for me, since they're dating on and off-screen. But what happens when they break up in real life? It'll hurt the show!
