Those queens of reality TV, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, have already taken L.A. and Miami, so it's only natural that their next stop would be New York. Officially, their reason for spending the last several months in the Big Apple was to open a Manhattan branch of their clothing boutique, Dash. But Kourtney & Kim Take New York (E!, Sundays, 10 p.m. ET) is really about chronicling Kim's dating life and Kourtney's battles with her hot-tempered baby daddy, Scott Disick.
Of course, the Dash opening does provide reasons for famous faces to cameo, such as Kanye West. "You're opening in two weeks?" he asks incredulously in this promo clip. This, of course, is meant to ratchet up the tension: Will they be ready?!
Is this show worth watching? Both women are really only famous for being famous. But if silly reality TV shows are your particular guilty pleasure (and what's life without at least one guilty pleasure?), this show is harmless fun. And it is important to know who the Kardashians are -- if only to be able to answer pop culture trivia questions about them at your next game night party.
