It's hardly a secret that Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick has deserved a nice, big smack on the head for some of his recent behavior. But the 27-year-old says he's seen the light -- and now he's working on becoming a better man.
In a new interview with Ryan Seacrest, the Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami star and new dad opens up about his struggle with anger issues and alcohol abuse, and says that it's time he owns up and takes responsibility for his actions.
"I had to take a look at where my life is going," Disick said. "Or where it was gonna go if I kept acting the way I was. I never ever wanted to admit that I may have a problem, [and] I got lots. I got it all," he admits. "There comes a point where you can't keep living like that."
Father to 6-month-old son Mason, Disick says he realizes now the pain he's caused his loved ones and mostly regrets "the things that I've done to Kourtney; [I've] treated her poorly."
"I hope to God I can look to those [mistakes] like blessings in disguise and be able to learn from them, and proceed with a better, healthier life for the both of us," he added. "Especially now because of Mason."
