Kim Kardashian insists that her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries wasn't a promotional stunt. But that hasn't kept E! from using their whirlwind marriage/divorce to promote the second season of her show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Conveniently, it premieres in about three weeks, on Sunday, November 27, at 10 p.m. ET. And, according to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, Humphries' footage from season two won't see the cutting-room floor.
Jenner, who's on a book tour promoting Kris Jenner...and All Things Kardashian, confirmed to Jay Leno that Kim's soon-to-be ex will in fact be part of the show. Perhaps ironically, she chalked the decision up to the family's commitment to being real. Watch her spot on Leno below:
"We decided a long time ago when we first started doing these shows that we were going to be really just raw and not edit ourselves," she said. "And we don't take stuff out, as you see all the time, so I think everybody will get a really fascinating glimpse into the kids journey in New York City."
Anyone curious about how their fairytale romance went south so quickly will want to tune in to season 2. And really, who isn't curious? Those wily Kardashians! Whether the romance was staged or not doesn't much matter. They'll play it to their advantage either way.
