Kris Humphries is about to be employed again! After dealing with the NBA lockout (and his public divorce scandal with Kim Kardashian), Humphries is now set to re-sign with the New Jersey Nets for a one-year deal worth $7-$8 million.
According to the New York Post, NBA sources confirm that the basketball-turned-reality star is expected to re-join his former team for practice as early as today, proving how quickly things can change for an NBA player -- like his soon-to-be-ex brother-in-law Lamar Odom, who was traded from the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.
But things are looking up for Humphries. Earlier this month, he took action to file for an annulment to counter Kardashian's divorce filing, citing "fraud" as the reason to annul the quickie marriage. He also signed a $150,000 endorsement deal with Sector watches and appeared on Good Morning America for his first live interview since the divorce news.
"Through everything I've just focused on family and preparing for basketball," he said in a Dec. 9 interview with Good Morning America. "Basketball is something I take really seriously and I continue to do that. You know, I'm just moving forward."
