Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman, costars of You Again (out Sept. 24), play ultimate enemies from high school. Behind the scenes, though, they’re so close they practically finish each other's sentences in an exclusive interview with iVillage.
Both bombshells -- and sweet, to boot -- you’d bet these young celebs were the queen bees of high school, right? Nope! "We both went to small high schools and graduated with a really small class so everybody was popular," explains Yustman, 25. "There was a small amount of hierarchy but… there weren’t crazy bullies," adds Bell, 30.
So where did they get their motivation to play such catty characters? Perhaps they were provoked by fellow castmate Betty White, who Yustman kids is "horrible to work with."
After a few moments of joking -- "She's such a diva," says Bell sarcastically -- the actresses get serious and open up about their admiration for the timeless star. "There's a reason that she’s been around forever, and had one of the greatest careers that will ever be had. It's because she’s awesome."
