Lady Gaga is back in her fans' faces with a boundary-pushing new video -- check it out here! -- and, as usual, the outrageous pop star always has something to say, whether in her Billboard-topping music or in revealing interviews, like the one in which she discusses her sexy duet with Beyonce, "Telephone."
The 9-plus minute (!) clip features women's prison fights, murder, a mode of transportation featured in Kill Bill, Vol.1, Virgin T-Mobile product-placement galore and, of course, totally eye-popping costumes (just a heads up if you plan on watching, it's rather NSFW!)
If you find the video shocking, you probably shouldn't. After all, remember who we're talking about here! Lady Gaga, 23 (real name Stefani Joanne Germanotta), recently told E! News about the "Telephone" clip: "There's certainly always a hidden message in my music videos," the provocative singer said. "But I would say most predominately, I'm always trying to convolute everyone's idea of what a pop music video should be." About her fan Quentin Tarantino, she adds, "There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video."
That's Gaga -- a living, breathing character straight out of a pulp fiction fantasy! Somewhere, Madonna is smiling about this ever-changing chameleon who's clearly a spotlight-grabber after her own heart (either that, or Madge is seething with jealousy!).
