Lady Gaga created quite a buzz at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards when she appeared to have raided a butcher shop before walking the red carpet. Her now-infamous meat dress was designed by Franc Fernandez and came with with matching accessories -- including a bag that she made Cher hold while accepting an award! When asked by Ellen DeGeneres about the meaning behind the dress, Gaga replied: "If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat."
