NBA star Lamar Odom and wife Khloé Kardashian have taken to Twitter to express their sympathy following a horrible car crash -- in which Odom was involved -- that took the life of a 15-year-old boy in Queens, N.Y.

Odom, in New York for his cousin's funeral last Thursday, was in the backseat of a chauffeur-driven car traveling through Jamaica, Queens, when the vehicle collided with a motorcycle. The motorcycle then struck the boy, who was a pedestrian. The teen, whose name has not been released, was rushed to the hospital for surgery. Despite doctors' best efforts, however, the boy died on Monday, according to the New York Daily News.

Upon learning the news, Odom, 31, tweeted, "Thank you for your support and prayers! My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys family."

Khloé Kardashian also weighed in, tweeting, "My heart/soul goes out 2every1 in pain from any suffering. Pray 4all of the angels surrounding us constantly. May our spirits stay strong."

Kardashian continued with, "Above all, love each other deeply, b/c love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality2 1another without grumbling 1 Peter 4:8-9."

In addition to quoting the Bible, the reality star also tweeted one of the most famous lines from Shakespeare's Hamlet: "Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

The car involved in the accident was being driven by Odom's chauffeur, who was transporting his famous client through his old neighborhood on the way to a barbershop. Odom sustained no injuries during the accident, but is reportedly "devastated" by the tragedy.
