Khloe Kardashian is still warming up to the idea of moving to Texas -- but Texas is ready for her! Khloe's NBA hubby Lamar Odom was unexpectedly traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks this week, prompting rumors that the Kardashian media circus was interfering with his career. But Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has nothing but enthusiasm for his new player's wife.
"I will say this: Khloe's my favorite Kardashian. She's the coolest," Carlisle told the Dallas Morning News.
Carlisle even expressed interest in appearing on one of the Kardashian reality shows, saying, "I've never been one to rule anything out. I would guess it would be a long shot to be asked."
Maybe not such a long shot! (Was that a basketball pun? See, Coach Carlisle is already perfect for reality TV!) According to The Huffington Post, a camera crew is almost certain to follow Khloe and Lamar to Dallas.
"Moving to a new city to support her husband and leaving her family behind is TV gold," a TV executive tells HuffPo. "Lamar and Khloe's own show, which debuted last April, was a huge hit, and now it will be even bigger with all this new emotional news."
Another source tells the site that Khloe's sisters Kim and Kourtney are likely to join her in Texas, since "both sisters love Dallas." (Kim once dated a Cowboys player, and Kourtney attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas for two years.)
It looks like Kim may already be the most excited sister. On Sunday, she sent Khloe and Lamar a tweet saying, "Can't wait for the new memories... I love you guys! Fam4Life yeeeeehaw!" As for Khloe, she seems to be making peace with the unexpected move.
"Everything happens for a reason. God has a plan," Khloe tweeted on Sunday. "We may not know what it is, but we have to trust in him. He knows what he's doing."
