Could Larry King be second-guessing his eighth divorce? According to the CNN icon's attorney, the proceedings between the talk-show host and his wife, Shawn Southwick King, are now on hold.
"Larry and Shawn met with a counselor today," Dennis Wasser told E! News. "It was decided that there will be no divorce activity for two weeks, as several issues need to be discussed and resolved."
Neither the Kings nor their reps have given any indication of what the "issues" might be, but it certainly seems as though the couple may have acted out of haste last week, when they both filed divorce petitions after 12 years of marriage. After news of their split was publicized, the spouses were seen looking cozy, walking arm-in-arm, this weekend, as they spent time with their two sons.
So could all this divorce talk just blow over?
"I'm going to [let] everything stand the way it is," Wasser said when asked if he was close to withdrawing King's divorce petition.
