Larry King has definitive plans when it comes to the afterlife. The former CNN reporter says he wants to be placed in suspended animation after he dies.

The legendary broadcaster tells his celebrity guests on the upcoming CNN Presents: A Larry King Special: Dinner with the Kings about his final wish, People reports.

"I want to be frozen in the hope that they'll find whatever I died of and bring me back," he says.

Airing Sunday, Dec. 11 on the cable news network, the special features 78-year-old King and his wife Shawn King, 52, hosting a dinner party at their home for such luminaries as Russell Brand, Seth MacFarlane, Tyra Banks and Conan O'Brien -- all of whom reportedly look shocked at King's revelation.

"This is big news," O'Brien replies. "You would like to be frozen? This is news to me."

Although it sounds like he's kidding, King apparently wasn't joking with his dinner guests. "It's the only hedging of a bet," King replied.

The fact that King is back on the air only one year after leaving his nightly post shows he's not going to let aging (or death!) keep him down.
