So, so sad.
Las Vegas star Danny Gans passed away suddenly on Friday. He was only 52.
The master impressionist, who has been a Sin City staple for the last ten years, was found dead in his bed by his wife. The cause of death is not yet known -- medical examiners say it could be weeks before they know anything.
"This makes no sense," said Chip Lightman, Danny's friend and manager, adding that the talent watched his diet and didn't do drugs. "I managed him 18 years, and health was never an issue."
Chip said that Danny seemed fine, though he had battled a cold earlier in the week.
Other Las Vegas residents were shocked by his passing.
"I'm very, very sad," said Celine Dion. "Not only was he the best in his field, but he was such a kind and loving person. ... I can't believe he's not with us anymore, and our heart goes out to his family."
Steve Wynn, of Wynn Resorts, called the performer's death "a profoundly tragic event that leaves us all sad and speechless. The loss of Danny to his wife Julie, his children, Amy, Andrew and Emily is at this moment impossible to comprehend."
We send our condolences.
