Lauren Conrad Shows Us How to DIY a Country Chic Holiday Table

The iVillage guest curator shares her pretty-as-can-be DIY holiday table setting

The beauty of country chic decor is that it combines lovely lace details and rustic touches into one integrated look. While this aesthetic often catches my eye on Pinterest, I decided to go ahead and take matters into my own hands and create a bit of country chic decor of my own in today's Crafty Creations video. This DIY is the perfect project if you're looking to spruce up your tabletop in a snap. And your party guests will be so impressed with your creations that you might just make them a permanent part of your decor. Check out the video below to find out how to make some of your own country chic table settings...

To recap, here's what you will need:

-- doilies
-- glue
-- paint brush
-- twine
-- scissors
-- mason jars

I love the idea of filling these updated mason jars with wildflowers, fresh lemon slices, or votive candles. You can also make place settings with any leftover small-sized doilies by writing your guests' names in the middle of the doily in pretty, feminine handwriting.

Will you give your tabletop a makeover by trying this DIY?

XO Lauren
