Someone must have advised Lauren Conrad not to bite the hand that feeds her. After claiming that Us Weekly misrepresented The Hills star in an interview (in an issue ion which she was on the cover), Lauren is now trying to take her foot out of her mouth.
You see, Us Weekly made it seem like Lauren said she felt betrayed by fellow co-stars Audrina "nude photos are artistic" Patridge and Brody Jenner, which L.C. said was absolutely not the case. She even posted a statement on her blog, saying that the "betrayed" headline in no way "represented my words or feelings" about Audrina and Brody.
According TMZ.com, the real story is that Audrina freaked after seeing the mag's cover. The girl was already having a bad week and the additional bad press had her going nuts. So, Lauren, in order to smooth things over with her pal, posted the blog statement saying that her interview with Us was misconstrued. Now, Lauren is taking back what she said about the magazine, probably because she realizes they are her bread and butter.
"It was never my intention to criticize Us Weekly," she said, "As I have a great relationship with them. My statement was only meant to support and stand by my friends."
Hey Lauren, take my advice, STOP TALKING.
