L.C.'s Reality? The Cover of EW
I love this cover of Entertainment Weekly. Not really because Lauren Conrad is the star, but because, having been a photo editor in my previous life (shout-out to my peeps over at SOD!), I can appreciate all the good things about it -- the concept, the lighting, etc. But I do have to say that The Hills star's expression is both amusing and captivating at the same time. The camera obviously loves her (no pun intended).
Anyway, in the new issue of EW, Lauren talks about what makes her show so wonderful -- and why she continues to let the public into her life (you know, besides the fact that she's getting rich off of it).
L.C. says it's all "about empowering girls": "You're gonna have bad boyfriends and best friends-turned-enemies. You need to be yourself, you need to work hard and you'll get there."
Hmmm. Not exactly what I had been taking away from my nights watching the MTV reality soap, but whatever you say, Lauren.
