When they first got together, singer-actress LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian were discreet about their relationship -- because they were both married to other people. But now that the couple is going public and getting serious, they're making up for lost time!
Rimes, 27, and Cibrian, 36, spent the weekend gushing about their love for each other...on Twitter. It started with Cibrian, who posted a pic of his girlfriend in concert with the message: "leannrimes is without a doubt a one of a kind incomparable talent! She is truly AMAZING!" Rimes responded with three little words (and three exclamation points). Then the next day, Rimes swooned over the fact that Cibrian was "showing me how to do yard wrk!", adding "Doesn't hurt when a hot guy is showing you! Always more interesting!" Sheesh. Save it for the hot tub, you two.
It could be the couple is euphoric about taking their romance to the next level: The lovey-dovey Tweets began just before the world learned that Cibrian and his two kids are moving in with Rimes. Sources say that Cibrian & Co. are making the move "to save money since Eddie lost his CSI job." Sounds like a big adjustment! But it's almost like they're seeking validation for their relationship from the Twitterverse at large. We wonder if Cibrian joined Twitter for this very reason; while Rimes is a frequent tweeter, her bf didn't start tweeting until earlier this month.
Whatever's happening behind closed doors, we hope it's half as cozy as what's happening on Twitter. And since there are kids involved, we hope they can make it work -- and not just in 140 characters or less.
