Country singer LeAnn Rimes has received a lot of flak lately for being too skinny -- but that hasn't stopped Mikoh Swimwear from hiring her as a swimsuit model. Pictures of Rimes in a bikini are now up on Mikoh's website, as well as an interview with the 28-year-old singer about her marriage to Eddie Cibrian and their plans for starting a family.
When asked what about her greatest accomplishment, Rimes replied with a quote from Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook: "I've loved another with all my heart, and to me, this has always been enough."
Rimes married Cibrian this past April, and she's been candid about the fact that their relationship began as an act of infidelity on both their parts. But it seems their current happiness was worth all the drama they caused. "What's life without love?" she says. "You can accomplish everything you want in life, but without anyone to share it with, what's it really worth?" Rimes says, "I have been blessed to have experienced so much in my short lifetime."
Though she plans on returning to music and film, Rimes is currently wrapped up in her new marriage with Cibrian and is enjoying spending time with his two sons (that he had with ex-wife Brandi Glanville). "I love seeing my 'bonus boys' and my husband running around in total privacy and me taking photos," she says. "I love being with them in our little private cove [at Laguna Beach]. It's pure heaven!"
But even though Rimes seems to be enjoying marital bliss, she still has to deal with the rampant criticism of her slim frame. After posting pictures of herself in a Mikoh bikini on her Twitter feed, comments poured in from followers, saying that she looked "scary skinny." Rimes then went on the defense, posting pictures of the food she ate and twittering about all of her meals.
Luckily, Rimes' new hubby always has her back. Cibrian defended his wife to Extra last week, saying, "I think she looks wonderful. She is very healthy and to me -- perfect." Aww!
