The best thing about this recipe is that it can be made in one hour from start to finish, with incredibly inexpensive ingredients, and the results are far superior to any store-bought sweet tea vodka. Who knew it was so easy? I use Lipton tea because I like its classic, lemony flavor, but feel free to use any black tea you have on hand. On a hot summer day, there is absolutely nothing more refreshing than a boozy Arnold Palmer made with this sweet tea vodka and lemonade. To give this vodka as a hostess gift, pour it into a mason jar and tie a piece of gingham fabric around the lid with kitchen twine.

|6 cups vodka||2 cups simple syrup|
|6 cups black tea bags||2 large, juicy lemons|
Pour 3 cups of vodka into each of two 1-quart mason jars. Add 3 tea bags to each jar. Screw on the lids and allow the vodka to stand undisturbed for 1 hour.
Remove the tea bags (be sure to squeeze out all the vodka and add it back to the jars!). Add 1 cup of simple syrup and the juice of one lemon to each jar. Screw on the lids and give the vodka a good shake.
The vodka will keep for up to a year, stored in a cool, dark place.
