Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin's oldest grandchild, just can't stop dishing about Alaska's most famous family. In his new memoir, Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs, Johnston claims his ex-girlfriend Bristol specifically wanted to get pregnant just to spite her mother.
According to the Associated Press, which obtained an advance copy of the memoir (due out Sept. 20), Johnston, 21, says Bristol was furious about her mother's unexpected fifth pregnancy with her now-3-year-old son, Trig, and encouraged him to start a family of their own. "Let's get pregnant," Johnston alleges then-17-year-old Bristol said, and eventually she did, with their son Tripp, 2.
Johnston also refutes abstinence-promoting Bristol's description of their first sexual encounter. In Bristol's own memoir, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, which was released in June, she accuses Johnston of stealing her virginity after plying her with wine coolers -- her first experience with alcohol -- on an unsupervised camping trip with friends. She goes on to say Johnston took advantage of her, and that she was so drunk she didn't know what had happened the next morning.
But Johnston claims if that's her recollection of their first time, he "wasn't there." He says they did go camping, but that it was "well after" they first started having sex. (They started dating in 2006.)
And the Palin revelations don't stop with their sex life. Johnston also asserts that despite the Palins' claims, he was present at his son's birth in December 2008, and that the former Governor (who asked to be referred to as Mommy Sarah instead of Grandma) wanted to adopt baby Tripp to "avoid a scandal."
