Levi Johnston had his 15 minutes of fame -- and about $1 million of fortune -- but now he's reportedly penniless and living with his mother in Alaska.
According to a source, Johnston, 22, squandered all of the money he made from his Playboy spread, his public appearances and his tell-all memoir Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs (which he released last fall).
"Levi made more than $1 million and squandered it on guns, boats and four-wheelers," the source tells Us Weekly.
After spending his money, Levi has apparently had little leftover to help ex Bristol Palin, 21, support their 3-year-old son, Tripp.
"Levi hasn't paid child support in nearly two years," says another insider. "And he has little contact with Tripp."
Meanwhile, Johnston and his girlfriend Sunny Oglesby, 20, are awaiting the birth of their first child, a girl. Oglesby, however, has expressed no reservations about Johnston's parenting skills.
"I'm tired of people thinking that my boyfriend's a bad father, especially now that I'm having his baby," Oglesby revealed in April. "He's an awesome dad."
Oglesby and Johnston have said they plan to name their baby girl Breeze Beretta, after the Italian gun manufacturer (presumably Johnston's favorite firearm).
Says the first source, "Levi is confused about his life."
