Likes!: Ricky Gervais Hosts the Golden Globes

Neil Patrick Harris injected life back into the Emmys this year. And hopefully Ricky Gervais can do the same for the Golden Globes. The wry British comedian has been tapped to host the January ceremony, which honors both TV and film achievements. Gervais’ irreverent humor will fit nicely with the Globes’ laid-back, dinner-theater atmosphere – last year, he drank a glass of beer on stage as he presented an award. Cheers to that!
