"If you buy a thermos, the sky is the limit. We use the wide-mouthed, short kind. It is like eating out of a bowl. (Just don't forget to pack the fork or spoon!) I heat the food until it is piping hot; hotter than I would serve. By lunchtime it is just right. You can pack any casserole. I have even packed bite-sized pieces of pork chops, steak, hamburgers or pizza in the thermos. Sometimes I'll pack leftover taco meat and put the shell in a sandwich container." —spitfire000
