Lindsay Lohan Arrest Warrant Lifted

Lindsay Lohan is no longer being hunted by the law, as the arrest warrant issued for the star has been lifted.

After the troubled starlet missed her progress review hearing in Los Angeles, a warrant was issued for Lohan's arrest Thursday while she partied in Cannes. The actress, 23, who posted $100,000 bail -- paying a bail bondsman $10,000 -- is set to appear at a new hearing Monday morning.

Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel that her client's passport was stolen (Lindsay told Us Weekly that her dad was behind the missing document) while at the film festival, but the judge deemed that a poor excuse and issued the arrest warrant anyway.

A court spokesman said that Lohan will likely be ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and have to take weekly drug tests upon her return. Insiders say that Lohan may be in violation of her probation for not following the judge's orders in regards to attending alcohol-education classes and that she could be facing up to six months in jail.
